Officer in charge of the Breast Clinic at the Western Region’s principal referral hospital, a published researcher, and an internationally recognised advocate for cancer care in low- and middle-income countries. Stepin Women Foundation grew directly out of that clinical work.

Ms. Jackline Addae

Ms. Jackline Addae is an oncology nurse specialist at Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Sekondi-Takoradi, officer in charge of its Breast Clinic, and the founder and chief executive officer of Stepin Women Foundation. She completed oncology nursing specialisation after the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives introduced the speciality, and in 2023 was recognised by the Global Power of Oncology Nursing for her contribution to nursing in low- and middle-income countries. She is a co-author of a 2025 BMC Cancer study on the experiences of women undergoing chemoradiation for cervical cancer at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
