Your Time Can Help Someone Act Earlier.
Stepin is built on people who show up. Ten roles, from community outreach to professional volunteering — and training for all of them.
Volunteer roles
Ten ways to be useful.
Some of these need a professional qualification. Most need only reliability, warmth and a willingness to learn. Tell us what you have and we will find the fit — we would rather place you well than place you fast.
Community outreach
Helping run sessions in markets, communities, workplaces and faith groups. Setting up, welcoming people, keeping records.
Cancer education
Delivering sessions after training. Particularly valuable if you speak Fante, Twi or Nzema.
Events
Planning and running campaign events, the annual summit, and community durbars.
Digital communications
Social media, content writing, design, translation and campaign support.
Photography & video
Documenting outreach with care and consent. Our archive depends on this.
Research & M&E
Data collection, entry, analysis and evaluation support. Ideal for students and early-career researchers.
Administration
Coordination, scheduling, record keeping and the unglamorous work that holds programmes together.
Fundraising
Community fundraising, corporate introductions, grant writing and donor stewardship.
Community Champion
A trained volunteer who carries cancer education into their own neighbourhood, month after month.
Professional volunteering
Nurses, doctors, lawyers, accountants, designers, translators and researchers giving skilled time.
