Impact

Our Roadmap

Pilot & Prove. Scale. National Influence. Three phases across three years, published openly so we can be held to them.

2027 – 2029

Strategic Growth & Impact Plan

Three phases, deliberately sequenced. Prove the model in one region. Scale what the evidence supports. Then work at national level. Select a phase to explore its objectives.

Phase one

Pilot & Prove

January – December 2027

The year Stepin finds out whether the model works. Full-year delivery across education, outreach and early action, a patient navigation pilot, the first Women’s Cancer Summit — and, at the end of it, an impact report that says what actually happened.

Phase goal. Evidence. A documented, measured year of delivery that either supports scaling the model or tells us honestly what to change.

Cancer education

Full-year delivery of Stepin Knowledge across communities, workplaces, schools and faith groups.

Themed monthly campaigns, from Know Your Risk in January to Stepin Impact in October.

Community Champions

Recruiting, training and supporting champions who carry education into their own neighbourhoods.

Referral pathways

Working referral routes agreed with clinical partners and tested in practice.

Patient navigation pilot

The core experiment of 2027: does navigation reduce drop-out between referral and assessment?

Women’s Cancer Summit

September 2027. Theme: From Awareness to Early Action.

Monitoring & evaluation

Data collected at every session and contact, analysed quarterly.

Impact reporting

Stepin’s first full public impact report, published December 2027.

Why we publish this

An organisation that will not say where it is going cannot be held to it.

Most non-profits publish a mission and keep the plan internal. We have published the plan because partners, funders and the communities we work in are entitled to see what we said we would do — and to check, later, whether we did it.
